Whitney Peeling (WPPR LLC) handles narrative nonfiction and enjoys working with authors, publishers, and/or mission-driven organizations. She has a soft spot for big-picture science, technology, and economics; under-explored civil rights/ humanitarian issues; ground-breaking research; and top-notch investigative journalism. Current and former authors/projects include Elizabeth Kolbert, Daniel Kahneman, Adam Grant, Paul Farmer, Eric Schlosser, James Risen, Carlotta Gall, Muhammad Yunus, Ellen Ullman, Jaron Lanier, Philadelphia Contemporary, Matthew Desmond’s The Eviction Lab and The Whiting Foundation. Before going independent in 2010, Peeling worked in-house at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, W.W. Norton, and was most recently the publicity director at PublicAffairs. In 2015, she co-created with Michael Taeckens and Kimberly Burns the literary publicity coalition, Broadside PR.
